Opening this week are “Amelia,” with Hillary Swank as the famous aviator, Amelia Earhart, “Astro Boy,” an animated film based on the classic Japanese character, and “Cirque du Freak,” based on the popular series of books by Darren Shan. Stay tuned for my reviews!

  1. As always I look forward to your reviews. In that Astroboy was so lousy in its original form, this can only be an improvement. Cirque du freak looks like the beginning of a long franchise – unless it is truly an abomination. Amelia looks good in the trailers and ads.
But your reviews and reviews are still the best. O how I envy your job!!
