Tribute: Bea Arthur

A fond farewell to Bea Arthur, best remembered as the strident, ground-breaking “Maude” and as Dorothy on “The Golden Girls.” I loved her duet in “Mame” and I loved her gutsy bravado and brilliant comic timing.
Bea Arthur was my favorite actress. When I would have a bad day and was feeling down, I would watch “The Golden Girls” and would feel much better. She was an asset to television. I will continue to watch the show for as long as it airs. She will be missed greatly.
