Posted on November 5, 2015 at 1:00 pm

The 20th annual International Family Film Festival opens tomorrow in Hollywood with a great schedule of films and activities. They will bestow their “Friz” award on a Disney animation legend, Floyd Norman. There are panels for filmmakers on financing, producing, and music, with a special screenwriters panel discussion of whether there is a market for family films in the digital age.

The films includ “Masterless” (a modern businessman and his parallel spirit, an 18th century Ronin), “Only God Can” (five friends face difficult times together), “On the Wing” (the son of a politician is pulled into intrigue), “The 3Tails: A Mermaid Adventure” (based on the popular YouTube series), and the short film “Bark Mitzvah” (yes, it’s about a bar mitzvah for a dog).

Activities on Saturday include stunt and voiceover workshops for kids.
