Copyright Marvel 2014Ever since he played Joseph in “The Nativity Story, I’ve been saying that Oscar Isaac should be a full-on movie star. He gave my favorite performance of last year as Llewyn Davis in the Coen Brothers movie “Inside Llewyn Davis,” and I have just seen him, superb again, in the upcoming “A Most Violent Year.” He was the best part of “Sucker Punch” and the Russell Crowe “Robin Hood” (as Prince John).
I was thrilled to hear that he will be in the new “Star Wars” movie and now more good news — he will also be the bad guy in the next X-Men movie, as Apocalypse. This is excellent news.
