Don’t Play With Bruno; Bruno is a Dweeb

I was delighted to find this great version of one of my favorite Tom Chapin songs, performed by Steve Charney — very timely with the increased sensitivity to issues of bullying and mean behavior in schools, and a great way to start a family conversation about how all of us can find ways to be kinder and more respectful.

  1. I thought the video was very good, especially for showing young people what bullying can be like. I would also like to recommend an episode I recently saw on ” CSI: Miami.” called “Stoned Cold.” I think it would be good for both high school students and parents. In the process of bullying, a person dies and it shows how the students, parents, and school officials are affected by both the bullying and the death.
