Posted on September 2, 2011 at 8:00 am

The latest Family Movie Night, sponsored by Wal-Mart and P&G, is “Game Time: Tackling the Past,” about a pro football player named Jake (“Chuck’s” Ryan McPartlin) who has been estranged from his family.  He reluctantly returns home for the first time in 15 years when his father (Beau Bridges) becomes ill, and then decides to stay home when his contract is not renewed.  Jake fills in at his father’s job as a high school football coach and reconnects with his high school girlfriend.  Watch for it Saturday, September 3, at 8 (7 Central).

  1. thanks for sharing about this movie…I saw someone -I think it was Entertainment Weekly – called it a cross between The Blind Side and Sweet Home Alabama…sounds good. can’t wait to watch with my family

  2. The show was delayed an hour because of the Notre Dame football game. My DVR only got the first hour of the show.

Where can you see it? when will it be replayed?

  4. I also had the problem of my dvr only recording the first hour. I have tried to watch it on the computer with no luck, so I am also wondering where I can see it or if it will be shown again on TV?

    Thanks,
    Dawn
