Pacific Rim — Sweded

One of this year’s biggest summer releases is Guillermo Del Toro’s “Pacific Rim,” a big, big, big summer action movie.

It was the delightful “Be Kind Rewind” that established the term “Sweding” for home-made, frankly cheap but wholehearted and joyful replicas of beloved movies, from “Rush Hour” to “Driving Miss Daisy.”  Here is an adorably micro-budgeted Sweded version of the “Pacific Rim” trailer.  (Thanks to my friend Brandon Fibbs for sharing.)
