The Best Movies of 2011 — So Far

Many thanks to Travis Hopson and John Nolan for including me on their wonderful “Punch Drunk Critics” podcast on Blog Talk Radio. Along with my dear friend Tim Gordon, we had a great discussion of the best — and worst — of 2011 so far. What would you pick?
Well, I don’t get to see or wish to see many films, but the ones that I did see so far that I thought were very good included “The Tree of Life,” ‘Midnight in Paris,” and ‘Win, Win.” I don’t believe these did very well at the box office, but I enjoyed them anyway. One that I did see that seemed to be popular with people that I liked was “Super 8.”
