  1. Star Trek 33 and a third, the final insult.
Who ever decided to make this move should be taken out and shot. I could not find anything to reedeem it at all.

James T Kirk never served under Christopher Pyke.
Mr Spock was not at the space academy at the same time as Kirk, he was however on the enterprise with Christopher Pyke as a science officer.
Dr Mcoy came later as a replacement doctor.
The only time James T Kirk met Christopher Pyke was when Spock hijacked the Enterprise to take Pyke back to the planet where he could be saved.
Uhura was on the deck of the enterprise when Kirk took over as captain, as was Mr Scott.

Need I go on,I am sure anyone reading these comments could add there own. As per my opening comment Star Trek, the final Insult.

    1. Thanks, Richard! I don’t think the movie was intended to be fully within the original “Star Trek” universe but to be a re-imagining with some tribute to the original, as often happens with comic books.
