On NBC Dateline, Natalie Morales sits down with producers Mark Burnett and his wife Roma Downey, for an in-depth interview about NBC’s “A.D. The Bible Continues.” Following the enormous success of their first miniseries, “The Bible,” Burnett and Downey are at the forefront of a wave of religious programming. Dateline takes viewers behind the scenes during the filming of the new 12-part series in Morocco, speaks with cast members about their experience portraying prominent Biblical characters, and follows Downey and Burnett on their promotional tour at mega churches across the U.S. “This series is kind of like– House of Cards, A.D. 33 meets Game of Thrones wrapped up in the Bible,” Burnett tells Morales. “Bible Stories” also features interviews with Rick Warren, Joel Osteen, Cardinal Donald Wuerl, and Father James Martin.
