  1. I was particularly saddened by the recent death of Australian director Sarah Watt. Partly because she only made two feature films (Look Both Ways and My Year Without Sex), part of a planned trilogy dealing with the impact of serious illnesses on individuals and relationships – and partly because she died from cancer, just as the character played by her husband William McInnes almost did in Look Both Ways.

  2. Touching tribute. I didn’t realize how many people we lost in the film industry. It was saddening but I was glad to see it. Thank you for posting it on your site.
