Grease: The Singalong Version!

It’s the one that you want!

You probably already know the words, but it’s great to see them up on the big screen and it is really fun to sing along. For just one moment, we’re all students at Rydell High.

Tell me more!

Check here to see where it is playing and order tickets online as many shows are already sold out. If your city is not on the list, demand it!

NOTE: “Grease” was rated PG when it first came out, before the introduction of the PG-13 rating. It is now rated PG-13 for sexual content including references, teen smoking and drinking, and language. Parents should know that the themes include a possible teen pregnancy and the movie suggests that the way to get a boyfriend is to act like a tramp. This is all presented in a heightened, parody tone but it may be disturbing to younger audiences.

  1. I was invited to see this sing-a-long at the Hollywood Bowl recently – it was so much fun! I have been to the Sound of Music sing-a-long but I enjoyed this much more! The place was close to being sold out (probably just a little under 16,000 people). They had a costume contest that Didi Conn hosted prior to the movie. Everyone was singing and sometimes standing/dancing. Just a lot of fun all around. I forgot that the story line is a bit suggestive. They do a really cute job with the way they present the words. I wish I could have brought my daughter. If we can make room in our schedule, I will take her to a theater before it leaves in a few weeks, but if not, then I will definitely make a point to take her next time it makes it to Los Angeles. Especially if they show it again at the Hollywood Bowl. If you enjoyed the movie 30+ years ago, you will enjoy it now!
