  1. You are testing me to the tiniest gyro in my spatial-temporal cortex. I am afraid I will have grafite lubricant on my face because I do not know all of these. But here are my guesses.
    1 – Darkstar
    3 – Lost in Space
4 – Bicentenniel Man and Fender (Robots) – as well as the Robotic host at Walt Disey World for Timekeepers (no longer is service, sadly)
5 – Kylie X – I think, or are you thinking about “The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes”?
    6 – Robbie
    9 – Wasn’t that Julie Newmar – pre-Catwoman?
10 – C3-PO – built by Anakin Skywalker (I’ll need all the extra credit I can get)
12 – Rosie, my wife is still hunting through catalogs to find one for us!
15 – Data, St:NG – and from whom did he learn comedy? (Joe Piscopo)
16 – yes. Harrison Ford is all I can remember, that and it was based on a story by Philip K. Dick.

  2. Goodness! This is tough. Good thing Movie Mom isn’t Teacher Mom. I’d feel sorry for the students.
Let me add to the first commenter here . . .
I think number one is Silent Running.
I think he/she meant answer number six (Robbie) to go with question seven (for Forbidden Planet).
Number six is Gort, I believe.
I agree number nine is Julie Newmar and the series was “My Living Doll.”
Number 13 is Artificial Intelligence and 14 is one of the Austin Powers movies (not sure which one).
    WHAT!! No Bender??!! Unforgivable.

  3. Thanks Big Dave, I remain corrected. I will now re-boot and set my servos on “learn”.
    These ARE hard!

  4. Ok. I think I got it. I had to look up the actual titles and I couldn’t have even guessed one without the previous posters.

    6. Gort – The Day The Earth Stood Still
    7. Robbie – Forbidden Planet
    8. Small Wonder – Vicki
    9. My Living Doll (Thanks to the previous posters)
    10. C3-PO – Anakin Skywalker (Duh)

Your sin is forgiven. Robots is by one of the OTHER animation companies, Blue Sky Studion, who brough you the Ice Age movies. I mis-remembered Silent Running – with Bruce Dern. And I cannot believe I drew a blank on Romie-O and Julie-8.
But then MovieMom did leave out The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes, one of Kurt Russel’s finest films (*gag*).

  6. I had a suspicion it wasn’t Disney. Something didn’t feel right about that, but it was too late to retract. My PC was wigging out and posting for me. LOL

  7. I am VERY impressed with the speed and accuracy of these responses! I’m out of town this week but will post another quiz soon after I get back, so get ready!

  8. I liked this quiz because not all the answers could be retireved from imdb.com. Well done – I like the challenge, even when I muddle my responses.

  9. That was the challenge! Coming up with questions that were un-google-able. I had a blast creating the quiz and got some help from my family (11 of us currently cruising in Nova Scotia). I’ll do another one very soon.
