One of the new fall series I am most looking forward to is the dramedy “This is Us” with Mandy Moore (“A Walk to Remember”), Milo Ventimiglia (“Heroes,” “Gilmore Girls”) and Sterling K. Brown (“The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story”).
Dolly Parton’s classic song “Coat of Many Colors” was inspired by her childhood in Tennessee. A movie inspired by the song will premiere on NBC December 10, 2015 at 9/8c.
Red Nose Day is a campaign dedicated to raising money for children and young people living in poverty by simply having fun and making people laugh. Already established in the UK, the inaugural US Red Nose Day will be held on May 21st, 2015. People across the country will come together to have fun and raise funds and awareness, ending in a three-hour entertainment TV special on NBC featuring actors, comedians and musicians, original sketch comedy, hilarious parodies and amazing musical performances.

“BIBLE STORIES: The New Blockbusters” Airs Sunday, April 5 at 8pm/7c
On NBC Dateline, Natalie Morales sits down with producers Mark Burnett and his wife Roma Downey, for an in-depth interview about NBC’s “A.D. The Bible Continues.” Following the enormous success of their first miniseries, “The Bible,” Burnett and Downey are at the forefront of a wave of religious programming. Dateline takes viewers behind the scenes during the filming of the new 12-part series in Morocco, speaks with cast members about their experience portraying prominent Biblical characters, and follows Downey and Burnett on their promotional tour at mega churches across the U.S. “This series is kind of like– House of Cards, A.D. 33 meets Game of Thrones wrapped up in the Bible,” Burnett tells Morales. “Bible Stories” also features interviews with Rick Warren, Joel Osteen, Cardinal Donald Wuerl, and Father James Martin.
This Easter Sunday, April 5th, 2015, A.D. The Bible Continues will premiere on NBC and continue on a 12-week journey through the rise of the Christian Church.
Executive producers Roma Downey and Mark Burnett continues where there The Bible series left off. With the Book of Acts and Paul’s letters as its foundation plus some artful use of history, A.D. The Bible Continuesstarts with the Crucifixion and The Resurrection. The complicated birth of the early Church was a time filled with enormous faith, persecution, political intrigue, brutal Roman oppression and the Jewish revolt.
