Top Picks: Yo Gabba Gabba

Is there a more adorable television show ever than Nick Jr.’s “Yo Gabba Gabba?” I love this mash-up of movie star, viral pioneer “Numa Numa,” and good old-fashioned silly dance fun.

My 3-year-old daughter loves this show. It has all the stuff little kids love — a lot of dancing and wild costumes and silliness.

This has got to be one of the most obnoxious kids’ shows on TV. It’s loud and seems to have no point. And what’s up with the neon orange getup that the host wears? It’s ridiculous. When I turn on other shows, such as Dora and Diego and the Wiggles, I can follow what’s going on. With this, forget it. I’m just glad my 3-year-old likes other shows.

Thanks, Lisa. I am glad you and your 3 year old found shows you can enjoy together. But I think that non-linear shows like this one have their place, too.
