Trailer: Pixar’s Inside Out

Posted on December 14, 2014 at 7:45 am

Remember the old scary movie line, “The call is coming from inside the house?”  There’s nothing more terrifying than discovering that a place or a person you were certain was safe has all of a sudden become completely unpredictable and potentially massively destructive.

And that can be what it feels like to be the parents of an adolescent.  The darling child who once adored you so purely and shared everything so freely is now moody, secretive, and hostile.  That’s what inspired Pixar’s new film, “Inside Out,” which takes us into the internal command center of a middle school girl, and, as we see in this new trailer, her parents as well.  Listen for voices from Diane Lane, Amy Poehler, Mindy Kaling, Lewis Black (playing anger, of course), and Bill Hader.
