House of Cards: Original and Remake

The new “House of Cards” series on Netflix starring Kevin Spacey is a remake of the brilliant original series from the BBC about a diabolical and ruthlessly ambitious politician.  Both are worth watching.

Trailer: Inside Llewyn Davis from the Coen Brothers

Posted on January 27, 2013 at 3:46 pm

I always look forward to a new movie from the Coen Brothers (“Fargo,” “No Country for Old Men,” “The Big Lebowski”), but this one has me especially excited because it stars one of my favorite actors, Oscar Isaac, reuniting with his”Drive” co-star Carey Mulligan.  And I love the subject, a 1960’s folk-singer.  Can’t wait.
