  1. I can’t wait, either! The folks at Pixar do not know how to make a bad movie, and unlike a lot of other “family” movie houses, they produce stuff that adults can appreciate just as much as the kids.
Though I did find it interesting that they felt the need to do the whole “From the creators of Finding Nemo, Up …” at the beginning. This is TOY STORY! Is there someone left out there who isn’t familiar with Pixar and Toy Story? That’d be like George Lucas making another Star Wars film and feeling the need to put “From the creator of THX-1138 and Tucker: The Man and His Dream” at the beginning of the promos.

  2. Thanks, Dave! Like you, I can hardly imagine anyone not being able to recite all ten Pixar titles. But perhaps it is more of a reflection of their sense of pride in their brand, especially now that they are a part of Disney. (“Tucker” was Coppola, not Lucas, though.)

  3. I was looking SO forward to this movie coming out, but now I am disappointed by the trailer. There are a lot of immoral parts shown in the trailer, and that is very un-like pixar. The only thing I can think, is that it is a new writer. I loved being able to know I could show my kids a pixar film without worrying about inappropriate and above age level content. This is extremely disappointing for me.

  4. The trailer does seem to have a different tone and you are right, Brittany, it is a different writer. But Pixar has been very reliable so far and the “Toy Story” characters are very dear to the people who work there. I am keeping an open mind and will report on the content of the film fully in my review. Thanks for the comment!

  5. I can’t imagine being anything but shocked and apalled after seeing the TS3 trailer! It was full of innuendos and immorality! We are huge Disney fans an HUGE TS fans…but we very likely will not see TS3 at all now. So disappointed since the entire family was looking forward to it. Whatever happened to making a kids’ movie without all the garbage?! I’m extremely disappointed in Disney!
