Write a Theme Song for Mindy!

The Absolutely Mindy Show on Sirius/XM’s Kids Place Live is in big time need of an official theme song and is inviting everyone to write one for her. Send in your submission of between 30-60 seconds on a CD by snail mail postmarked by August 14 to:

Mindy will try to air all entries received throughout the week of August 17 to the 20, and a final song will be chosen on Friday, August 21. The winning songster will be interviewed on The Absolutely Mindy Show, and have their winning song played every afternoon, from coast to coast on Kids Place Live.

Disney Karaoke Series: Disney Channel Vol 1

The latest in Disney’s popular karaoke series is Disney Channel, Vol. 1, with sixteen tracks, half with vocals and half without, so you can provide your own singing. Selections include songs from “High School Musicals” 1, 2, and 3, “Hannah Montana,” “The Cheetah Girls,” and “Camp Rock.” The CD works on karaoke machines and on regular CD players, so you can sing along at home, in the car, or with friends.

The nice people from “Imagine That” have sent me some cute prizes related to the film. It is the story of a busy and distracted daddy (Eddie Murphy) who starts to pay attention to his young daughter when he finds out that her imaginary friends somehow know more about the stock market than he does.
