Internet sensation. Recording superstar. Twitter’s top trending topic. Hair icon. Teen idol. And now, Justin Bieber becomes a comic book hero. Bluewater Productions has put Bieber’s life story from public housing to superstardom in the latest from its popular Fame series of biographical comics. FAME: Justin Bieber. BEIBER.jpg
Writer Tara Broeckel Ooten said that while researching the comic she became convinced that Bieber has what it takes to craft a long musical career. The comic book was drawn by Claudio Avella.
Coming issues will feature “Twilight” star Taylor Lautner & soccer star David Beckham.
Darren G. Davis, president of Bluewater Productions, says that the biographical comics continually bring new readers to sequential storytelling. “This is a great medium for kids as well as adults. I had a hard time reading as a kid and comic books really improved my reading skills. One of the goals is trying to get kids away from the video games and reading more”

The gospel world and everyone who loves music that lifts the spirit had a double loss this week with the passing of the magnificent Albertina Walker and “King” Solomon Burke. They will be deeply missed. But their glorious recordings will continue to bring us joy and inspiration forever.
