Trailer: No Ordinary Hero — The SuperDeafy Movie

Coming next month on DVD, “No Ordinary Hero: The SuperDeafy Movie” is the story of a deaf actor (John Maucere) who plays a deaf superhero in a campy television series. But he wants to be a real hero. A beloved character and role model, SuperDeafy has a worldwide following. He has been turned into t-shirts, posters and dolls… and now a movie. This film marks the first time in cinematic history that a SAG commercial feature film is being executive produced exclusively by deaf executive producers and directed by a deaf director. Featuring a stellar cast that includes Best Actress Academy Award-winner Marlee Matlin, Shoshannah Stern, and Ryan Lane. Maucere has been featured as the sign language performer at Super Bowl 2013 and has been performing the Superdeafy character in the deaf community for the past 15 years.

Underdog Kids is family film about a karate team of misfits, available on VOD and DVD July 7, 2015. Adam Irigoyen (Disney’s “Shake It Up!” and “Wizards of Waverly Place”), Ryan Potter (Big Hero 6, Nickelodeon’s “Supah Ninjas”), Cade Sutton (Disney’s “Kirby Buckets”), Mirelly Taylor (“Lost”), Patrick Fabian (“Better Call Saul”), Tom Arnold (Shelby, “Sons of Anarchy”) and Beau Bridges (“The Millers,” “White Collar,” The Descendants) star in the story of a struggling Mid-City Community Center’s karate team that loses their instructor a week before the big tournament. former MMA champ Jimmy “The Lightning Bolt” Lee (Rhee) returns to his old neighborhood and reluctantly agrees to train the misfit bunch. Despite the struggles they face, the washed-up fighter and group of urban underdogs bravely take on the undefeated Beverly Hills Junior National Karate Team in the ultimate karate showdown at Nationals, and learn confidence, courage and honor along the way.

NCIS star Cote de Pablo gives a behind the scenes look at the making of the Roma Downey/Mark Burnett produced miniseries, The Dovekeepers. Adapted from Alice Hoffman’s novel, “The Dovekeepers” follows a group of extraordinary women whose lives intersect in a fight for survival. This clip is taken from the exclusive special featurette, “Taking Flight: The Dovekeepers,” about the making of the film and includes interviews with cast from the set, along with writer Alice Hoffman.

It is available on now on Blu-ray and DVD 6/30 exclusively from Amazon, with a wide release scheduled for August 11, 2015.

Martin Sheen and Amy Grant provide the voices in this animated animal adventure inspired by Noah’s Ark, from Entertainment One (eOne). “All Creatures Big and Small” will be available for free for a limited time on Google Play starting July 1, 2015.

A clumsy new species of Nestrians, led by patriarch Dave and son Finny, find themselves left off the list of animals allowed to board Noah’s Ark. With rough waters ahead, the father-son duo scramble in disguise to sneak onto the boat. Caught up in all the excitement, Finny accidentally steps off the boat and gets left behind leaving him and a few new friends to embark on an journey to reunite with their family. With the aid of creatures big and small, Dave must turn the Ark around to save his son in this heartwarming adventure of Biblical proportions.

The release of “All Creatures Big and Small” coincides with the launch of Google Play’s new family-friendly discovery experience, designed to help parents find apps, games, movies & TV shows and books that are appropriate for their kids.
